Like many founders, I didn’t start out in this industry — I stumbled into it through frustration. In early 2021, I bought my first home and quickly realized that homeownership was far more complicated than I’d expected. There was no guide, no system, and no easy way to keep everything organized. Just a property inspection from the sale and an unfamiliar list of tasks needed for maintenance.

Soon after, I began managing my late grandfather’s home and became the unofficial property manager for my parents. Suddenly, I was juggling three properties, each with its own needs, service schedules, and paperwork. Keeping track of it all and keeping everyone in the loop felt impossible.

When was the last service, and when’s the next one due? How much have we spent preparing the property for sale? Which technician knows the system at the other house?

As a software person, I looked for a solution that could bring all this together, but nothing fit. After sharing my experience with others, I realized I wasn’t alone. Homeowners everywhere were trying to manage their most valuable asset with spreadsheets, inbox searches, and guesswork. Unfortunately, wasting precious time and sometimes overpaying.
